This is fabulous! The colors and reflections are so very beautiful. The framing, with the look of beveled glass is awesome.I thank you so much for stopping to comment on mine. I have added you to my friends list, as I tend to overlook people at times, in my hurry to see my friends work. I appreciate constructive critique. And flattery is always nice :) Hope to see more of your work soon.

Hi Khaled, well worth the stop, the cropping on this scene is a hard one...but I think I like the horizontal over the vertical shot...the sense of depth and perspective appears greater in it. Perhaps cropping down from the top abit more would let the reflection show more, and still keep the perspective of the river bank. Beyond that, the only thing that could improve this would be a cloud-filled sky lit up by the setting or rising sun to the right. Also, thanks for the recent comments -
Chris

Very good colors, light and details. I think the vertical shot is the better of the two.

Hi Shahenaz, I did nothing, may be a matter of focus, may be the transverse one more focused. I usually do nothing except for contrast adjustment, framing +/- B/W effect. Thanx a lot for your comment. My regards to you, Khaled.

Hi Khaled, How come the horizontal one is sharper and crispier than the vertical one? What did you do?

Beautiful scene, in this case I do like the landscape more for wider and more details, pity should be shot with wide angle, would?ve shown more space on the top and the reflection too, though great image, Saeed

Lovely shot Khaled, great reflections. As to the vertical shot, even though I normally prefer vertical shots myself, in this case I would have to say that I like the landscape shot better..I dont know why but It just sings to me more. Both are great shots in their own right, and I think the question of which is better is purely subjective and just a matter of personal taste and opinion.

Hi Ameed, thanx for your nice reply. Actually I took a vertical shot, and I was confused which is nicer, the vertical with the full length of palm trees or the transverse with the wider scope? tell me what do you think. Regards my friend, Khaled.

More than wonderful Khaled, i like the compositing allot, the reflection with the nice lighting make a wonderful picture. I would consider taking this picture vertically, to show the entire length of the Palm, i know it is easy to criticize after taking the picture, but this doesn't mean the picture is not perfect by any way. The framing also is peace of art, very well done, regards,
