About I was quite taken with this image as on one side it shows night mode with the moon and the right side shows the breaking of the dawn. I have not manipulated this image only altered the levels.

OK, after reading your imput I see what you were going for. At first, I thought, a bit dark this time. But I like it yes.

Thanks Ameed. I actually got a few shots where the moon is actually quite close to the colour. I played with the setting sto see what could be achieved. So while some are showing the dark that you see here, others are showing more colour. But, even so, the closeness of the two was irresistable.

Thankyou so much SD. I thought this one might be more appealing to your taste.

What an amazing capture sure Judi, i can't imagine such a seen would exist in that narrow cadre, i thought it would take 10s of miles to distinguish the difference between the night and the break of dawn. very well captured and composed, simply cant be any better, regards,

Mark, thanks for your comment. While I wasn't there long enough to take a whole series, I can tell you that I have been experimenting with different settings on my camera. What you see in the image above is not what I saw with the naked eye. I was able to darken the image by using a few different settings on the camera. I do have another couple of images taken from the same location within minutes of this one. I will put them up over the next couple of days if that will help.

I love the colours and the clouds. Would have been wonderful to see a whole series taken from here as dawn broke fully. If you have that available, it would be nice to see on usefilm.
