Jeff - Comments on this photograph, it caught my attention.
1. Good contrast.
2. Slammin' rules of thirds composition.
3. "Fast hands" - I think the timing to get this particular expression is fantastic, and you could have tried over and over until you were sucessful to get just the right look from the cat.
4. You may not know this about shooting "wildlife", but I was told to always focus on the eyes, as getting them crisp and in focus is essential. Often its the eyes that evoke the emotions of the viewer, so you want to get a little bit of tunnel vision and track them closely.
Overall, great job, little bit pixelly, but I'm sure the orgiginal is tres fantastique.
