Ottimo scatto, la composizione e la posa la rendono un ritratto non solo bello da guardare ma anche originale.
Mi piace la contrapposizione tra la diagonale disegnata dalla posizione della modella e le linee orizzontali dei gradini..ottimo accostamento!

Hello Max my dear friend! I have been so busy the last months and not have had time to put up or even view photos. I'm trying to catch up a little bit sometimes when I can and it feels nice to look in to your portfolio and see that you have many interesting new photos. What a beauty this is! Haha... I understand YOU are very busy, if you take photos of this beautiful women! ;-)
I think I like the colour version a little bit more, because the light is so special and kind of mystical! Maybe a tiny tiny bit to much green (or yellow?) in colour tones... but I don't know. I DO know though, that this photo is super!

Non mi ricordo se l'avevo già commentata ma ogni occasione è buona per "rifarsi gli occhi"... ;-) La cosa che mi garba è l'alto numero di "interpretazioni personali" che 'sta foto ha suscitato... QUindi trattasi di opera "ispiratrice"... secondo me (il me "attuale" in ogni caso) va benissimo così.. magari avrei cercato di "cavare dall'ombra" un po' più di dettaglio... ma son "quisquilie" (come direbbe Lorenz). Sulla mia ultima, l'effetto soft è dato da una mia sperimentazione nel tentativo di ottenere un effetto tipo "quadro ad olio" che mi piace parecchio... sto cercando di dare un look personale ai ritratti (mi sto concentrando su quelli in 'sto periodo) anche ispirato da diversi fotografi.... ma in special modo da questo: http://andrzejdragan.com Dagli un occhio se ti capita, merita veramente. Grazie Anto, sono contento del tuo commento perchè ci tenevo a conoscere la tua opinione, come fotografa e come donna, e le tue parole sono musica per le mie orecchie ;) Ti ricordi cosa ti dissi tanto tempo fa dei tuoi ritratti? Devo ammettere che osservare le tue foto mi ha aiutato parecchio in questa serie. Il bilanciamento era manuale, ho tarato la macchina usando un semplice foglio di cartoncino bianco, il colore che vedi è quasi quello reale, altrimenti sarebbe stato arancio-rossiccio (c'era un maledetto lampione che emetteva quella tipica luce da incrocio ;) ). Semplicemente stupenda questa foto, Max! Con tutti questi commenti non posso dire niente di nuovo o aggiungere altro a quanto non sia stato già scritto.
Tuttavia resto affascinata dalla composizione e dal taglio elegante, dalla posa naturale, eppure intrigante e piena di grazia di questa bellissima nodella e, senza dubbio, dalla versione in B/N dalle tonalità perfette.
Nella versione a colori, il bilanciamento del bianco mi lascia leggermente perplessa a causa di una dominante gialla, che comunque dici che rispetti il tono effettivamente presente al momento dello scatto.
Il bilanciamento del bianco era in Auto, oppure settato per luce artificiale?
Comunque fosse, niente toglie alla magia di quest'immagine di rara bellezza.
Secondo la mia opinione merita il premio più prestigioso.
Tantissimi complimenti, Max, e non solo per questa, ma per tutta la serie!

I too think this is my favourite in the series, but i loke them all. I think B&W works best with this shot because the red and black make a sharp contrast that can distract from the face and overall composition. I think the tones work very well in B&W.

Sono ancora vivo, quasi... mi sono pure beccato sto virus che c'è in giro, stato male 2-3 gg fa, poi subito ripreso, da un anno nenche un raffreddore, e quando cade questa porcheria? a cavallo tra l'ultimo esame e il primo giorno di lavoro, naturalmente... ho iniziato ieri come agente immobiliare nell'agenzia ReteCasa di Mel, e non c'è malaccio, poi magari ti scriverò in privato o quando ci si rivedrà... intanto subito la gattonata: se conosci gente che vuol vendere o affittare in sinistra piave o in provincia fai sapere, che se poi chiudo il contratto ti arriva qualcosa in tasca anche a te, così funziona...
poi ho conosciuto Lelle Zuppati, presidente associaz naz fotografi professionisti, e fotografo di moda con studio a Milano e Venezia, tramite un amico, certo proprio ora che ho iniziato con questo lavoro...forse mi mette in contatto con un tipo che fa reportage...
Bellissima questa postata, perfetta in b/n, anche se non mi piace come viene il rosso saturo in b/n, allora ci sarebbe da fare la solita cosa che non ti garba....

I like it A LOT! Very nice. Wonderful composition. i think B&W is the best choice, it brings out the beautiful textures of her clothing and the stairs. The horizontal lines work perfectly and those other vertical lines complement really well the composition. I think that the pose is perfect, the hair on her face, everything works well.
Nice shadows and contrast.
Thanks for commenting on Yellow's eyes. By the way, that is a portrait of my sister, we look somehow alike, but we are different, you can look at my self-portraits. I haven't done any lately.

Buona anche la tua interpretazione, era una delle inquadrature che avevo in mente, ma problemi tecnici mi hanno fatto cambiare programma, in pratica avevo fatto tanta fatica a trovare il fuoco giusto che non me la sono sentita di cambiare inquadratura ed ho fatto gli scatti con la modella in quella posizione. Thanks my dear friend Telmo, you made me laugh with your great comment!!! ;))) ?Italian guys will never change?, yes, it?s the truth!!! But I?m here for telling you something about my camera. Undoubtedly it?s an excellent camera, the Leica lens is really good and it?s stabilized 12X is fantastic, you can easily change a large numbers of parameters in its setup, but there are two things that I don?t like: (1) it lacks a RAW or TIFF format for a better picture quality, even if the JPG is quite good; (2) it?s very hard to focus in low light conditions, for instance in this night shot, they did not supply a IR system focusing, the AF is unusable and you can?t use the MF because the LCD is too dark in these situations. Hope to have satisfied your curiosity ;) A great hug!!! Max

Bellissima anche questa. La preferisco in bianco e nero e forse io non l'avrei tagliata, l'avrei lasciata nel suo originale contesto: lei rimaneva meravigliosa ma faceva anche parte della cornice di quel momento. Non so come spiegarti.

The B&W is so much better than the colour version! Just wonder how this VERY beautiful woman, dressed so elegantly - perhaps on her way to/from the Opera - is sitting/lying on the stairs :) My only wish is that you could not clearly see how the hemline is raised; it should look more natural IMO. sempre tu. Solo un piccolo neo Max: il taglio verso il basso, io avrei lasciato come nella foto originale che trovo dia piu' profondità.

Of course, this is a beautiful shot! The only thing that I would change (LOL - if only I Knew how to do it!...)would be the volume perception in the stairs... Because the lighting comes from a street light (right?) maybe it is to high and the stairs have no shadows and they, as I see them, are very important to add volume to a scene. A smooth backlight would help(maybe)...
Anyway those beautiful legs and gentle smile overcome these minor details... heheheheh
You keep surprising...

Francesca hai ragione, l'ombra è un po' antiestetica, non me n'ero accorta in fase di ripresa, eratanto se vedevo la modella ;) anche la foto è luminosissima, c'era un buio tremendo. Anche a me piaceva quella a colori, sono stato indeciso su quale postare, poi il mio DNA in BN ha preso il sopravvento ;) Ciao, un bacione!!!

Posso permettermi di dirti che preferisco l'originale. La ragione della mia preferenza è la dominante gialla.
Unica cosa che disturba,immagino solo me, è l'ombra della mano. Per il resto m'aggradata abberu meda (la gradisco davvero molto).

Hi Max, I totally agree. It's my favourite of this series too. Very well captured, preserving the contrast and details in the black, and not blowing out the white parts. Looking at the original, I also think B&W adds even more "style and class" than she already has....Superb shot. Very well composed, and unforced. My compliments!

non c'è niente da dire..
la foto è stupenda!
roberta.. beh.. è bellissima, il tutto contornato da un semplice ambiente.
la foto è fatta in notturna (ah già che p..a, bastava leggere meglio il titolo)
lo si vede comunque dalla luce "gialla"... (che io adoro)

Roberta è bellissima, ottima la "grinta" e la posa.
La tua capacità di tirar fuori "una donna diversa" è ciò che mi colpisce di più ( i ragazzi diranno sicuramente che invece sono le gambe quelle che attirano di più l'attenzione...eh...eh ): anche se la posa e la location potrebbero sembrare simili a tante altri
scatti ,tu l'hai saputo rendere unico!!!

It does look much better in B/W. I think it would look good in color. Something in the color is off, white balance maybe? At any rate, it is beautifully composed and is a stiking photo.
