It's really an interesting street photo! Mr Springmann's comment about the small sign saying "quality" just next to the person is quite correct. But, what a world, when fences are getting a quality!! And the bus in the background could lead you to just a couple of other association of ideas too! Over all, you see, dear Gary, you made just a picture of the "grainy side of the street"! Hopefully there is still a grain of hope - for the young man as well! Regards Franz
greetings Dr. Rafael, I would like to thank you on your comment on 'another long day at work', the worst part about it is that this young man chooses not to work, he is part of a group of young men and women in this area that work the streets instead of getting a real job. The economy in this area is very good and anyone who wants a job can have one. His sign states that he will work but I don't belive that that is the case and unfortunately that is the 'quality' of a lot of young men and women in America today. yet once again you have opened my eyes to one of my own photos, and again I thank you. regards, gary spillane
The expression on the face of the guy in your "another long day at work" may be funny, but the situation is tragic. The small sign saying "quality" just next to the guy adds an atmosphere of cinicism to the photo. Thank you, Gary, for your generous comment on my "Evening in Tel Aviv". Regards, Rafi
