the main thing that drew me to this was the blue reflection in the road from the Night and Day Cafe. I'd taken loads of shots at all angles, but saw this couple walking down the road and saw an opportunity to caputre them "in" the blue reflection.
Leaving the aperture fairly closed gave me a shutter of 2.5 seconds so I'd get a nice ghost effect.
This is an ontouched copy - I did loads of work at home on it - but the version at work is as is, as it were.
This is the result of a bit of tinkering in Photoshop - just brought a few things out a bit more and make the dull bits darker.
Not that much different is it?
This is the kind of thing I was on about getting together to capture - also places like Granary Wharf, you could get the canal locks with a blurred train in the background etc.
Anyway - best get the kit packed - flying at 13:15 to Barcelona. Taking everything except the huge tripod - got one of those dinky bendy ones that came free on Digital Camera, hope it copes!!
