Peter have looked at all three images, love them all, find it hard to choose one I like best. They are so very different, I love this because it has a soft romantic feel to it, with it's soft lighting, I like the one taken from the back because it is different and quite angular, almost stark, and the like the full bloom because that is just what it is, glorious, fullblown and glamorous.

Laura, thanks for your wonderful comments. I wish I could take credit for these. It was all God's work. I was in his hands when shooting these. He put me in the right place and right time. I feel that God is glorifies by these roses....

Whenever I see a lovely rose like this one, I think of Robert Burn's poem:
