ah rust!!!!!! My aunt and I keep collecting pieces of rust to some day use in a sculptural piece. Meanwhile, like you, I keep photographing the beautiful textures of rust!

to be honest, it was the bottom of a hydro pole, so i took it vertically. i never even thought to turn it around! thanks for the suggestion.

Why vertical I wondered, then realized that it was the only possibility! A little soft focus as noted, but beautiful nonetheless.
