Looked over your photographs after you left a comment for Bart Aldrich. Coming across this photo, I have to say that the combination of elements is "massive".
A hawk, lightning, and exceptional lighting all lead to one heck of a fine photograph.
Keep the color.
I noticed another comment about using the rule of thirds to energize the composition (bale more to the left), and I have to say that is a fair assessment, but given all the other natural events I think this is as close to perfection as you can get.
Impressive, since there is no way to know where the lightning will strike!
