About Jane & Walter's Restaurant, a popular fine dining restaurant in a cottage area an hour's drive north of Winnipeg. The proprietors moved from their Winnipeg location to the cottage community a few years ago, and obviously took up gardening as well as cooking!

Lovely capture. I'd love to sit here and have a quiet dinner.

Extremely beautiful and romantic place one would like to have lunch in it. Very nice and clear colours. Good work Dave.

We all make mistakes Dave, myself not excluded.
They sure do love flowers the people who live in the house you captured so well in your "They love flowers!"
Thank you for your lovely, observant comment on myt "Face of a dancer".
Regards,
Rafi

Oh wow what a fantastic place - I'm not sure about eating straight away, I think I would spend a few hours building up an appetite taking photos of the flowers and bees lol
Excellent photo Dave - what an incredible composition.

Best wishes,
Steve

Hi Dave great shot. It must be something about restaurant owners and flowers. I am a restaurant owner and chef and most of my photo's come from the flowers in my wifes garden in the grounds around the restaurant.

Well, the overcast sky makes for a nice, even, glare-free light on the flowers and rich, saturated color while it renders itself absolute stark white. In situations where you have a closeup, you can exclude the sky and benefit from the soft illumination on the subject. Here, you just had to accept the sky in the picture. The restaurant is inviting . . . except in the hay fever season!

Dave, now what on earth makes you think that? If their cullinary skills are as good as their choice in flowers colours, then they must be really good :-)
Well spotted and taken.
