Exemplary use of dof. Puts us in there somehow, focussing. "I went to THE DOOR" The door handles actually look beautiful. It is amazing isn't it, how ugly they could make the rimu look in these instituions. Did they leave files behind? Or is there angry graffiti?

I agree with the "disturbing image". It makes you wonder about what goes on behind those doors. The question is, do we know enough to treat mentaly disturbed patients??? Very interesting photo, makes you think. Regards,Gina

The sign is on the outside of the door. What is more disturbing is what I photographed in this room. Unfortunately I can't post it on this site as the image contains to much personal information.

A disturbing image Mark. Is the sign on the inside or outside of the "treatment" room door? It leaves a lot of unanswered questions about the treatment of mental patients in New Zealand. Regards John
