Hi Bertram, let me discuss this matter with you,please!
Turning this color digital photo into B/W was a real nightmare.
There was a very strong morning light coming from a side which risked to burn the highlights and all the colors in the scene were pastel.
The girl's shirt was grey and her sandals light blue, the portal green and the wall pastel pink.
I made several trials, but I wasn't happy with the result either.
Down below I attach another version...please let me know if you find it any better.

Wow, almost too much sex for an old man ;-))
Great canddid shot ! Digital BW looks not so ery convincing here but I think adding contrast only will not really improve it. Love this phot anyway !

I knew this was a henri befosre opening it, my friend Antonella. Your "Crumbs on her bosom" has all the ingredients. Two women, each concentrated it herslf, the right one busy searching for the crumbs and all framed by the doors on each side + the white bench.

Ciao Gabry,scusa ma non avevo visto il post-scriptum. Certo che ce l'ho...uno zoom 70-300 AF mm,ma il mio è del vecchio tipo in quanto lo usavo e lo uso ancora con le analogiche.
Usato adesso costa circa 300 Euro,nuovo c'è la versione D che costa,secondo l'almanacco, 495 Euro ( prezzi indicativi ).

Inspiring B/W picture of a situation well seen and taken. To take pictures like this one it requires to be awake, good eyes, quick reaction and last not least excellent knowledge of the photographic equipment...Great shot.

Bellissima, sembra si debba muovere da un momento all'altro la signora ahahhahah.
Il mio momento buio per il momento è finito, da lunedì dovrò solo iniziare a sfaticare per imballarmi tutta la casa e poi fra una decina di giorni.. inizierò nuovamente a vivere dopo 10 anni di isolamento. Si prospettava di dover passare ancora molto tempo prima di ottenere una casa ed ecco perchè stavo così giù nei giorni scorsi. Per fortuna ho sempre vicini gli amici veri a strapparmi un sorriso ehehhehehehh. SMACK

Caro Orazio,si,mi piacciono molto..infatti io stessa avevo provato più volte a scurirla,ma dati i colori tenui della scena mi pareva che presentasse una perdita di dettaglio nelle ombre.
