Un oasi nel deserto.Molto bello il cielo ,con quelle nuvole ,sembra rarefatto.L'ombra che i cipressi fanno sul terreno sembra quasi un timido inchino.Una Toscana dura e al tempo stesso gentile.Un abbraccio e un bacio.ciao.dodi

Questa foto ha una forza nel terreno spoglio: una visione particolare e quasi unica
Molto buona la composizione con lo spazio lasciato alla collina che con la sua ombra acquista movimento

Hi Antonella, almost a perfect shot! Stunningly beautiful, and very well captured. I only think cropping off a bit off the lower part of the image would balance the composition a bit more, although the emptiness in the field does serve a purpose. The shadow in the incline in the hill is amazingly beautiful. Great shot!

I really love this series of photos of the Italian countryside. I would just ask you to consider the panorama format for some of these shots of wide, rolling countryside, particularly when there is little significant in the foreground. I think you might be surprised how much stronger the image becomes... (But then I would say that, wouldn't I!)

Hi Gustav! Thank you so much for dedicating your time in fixing my photo. Definitely the colors look much better in your version. In reality they are not that appealing, the rocks on the ground are grey just as you see in my picture.
As for the cut, well I usually follow a theory which is not my invention, but suggested by a Master photographer of landscape, John Shaw, who teaches that in order to give the feeling of depth you should put into the frame a large foreground and the object on top, like you could " walk " into it.
That's why I don't isolate the subject.

Ciò che mi colpisce di questa immagine è l'aridità del terreno e l'andamento ondulato delle ombre degli alberi.
Peccato per il cielo un po lavato, sarebbe stata eccezionale.
