I like the atmosphere in this composition, it suits the subject. It has an aura of the dark and mysterious about it. Maybe a little crop of the right to take it out of dead centre might make it better, but I think you have done a great job on this. Excellent Margaret

Awsome pic! Only thing I can think of that you could have done differently was to not center the flower. But thats just my opinion. Well done. Jeremy

Hi Rose, the viniette worked nicely to isolate the subject, a little tighter crop would do the same and give a larger impression. Also the light seems to be coming from top left, a reflector would work good to bring out some detail in the right and bottom. I often use off camera flash to fill those areas, keep on shooting, Cary

I have a lot of poisonous plant in my garden. I find them exceedingly beautiful and being a Master Herbologist I learned that every poison can be powerful medicine, if you know what you're doing. BTW moonflower is also considered poisonous and a member of the nightshades

Nice shot Rose, (I don't know if I've ever seen deadly night shade). It's a nice form. Sorry I can't add a technical thought.

I like the angle of this shot very much! The DOF is perfect IMO. Colors and lighting are very good.
