This is a wonderful composition. Your "About" comments are very moving as well.
I am struck by some parallels (especially in the title, but in the photos as well) of this shot with one of mine called, "Alone Together." You might want to take a look.

you may be right with the darkness. I have some problems with the Photoshop view and the view in the internet explorer. Just found the bug in the color calibration from PS. thanks for the hint!
