I was just going through your portfolio and noticed you have quite a diverse taste in styles. Hell you take shots of everything. Yes the flash may have been a little hot on the water and rocks, but are you enjoying what you are doing? If so, Keep it up my friend. Help stimulate the economy and burn lots of film! I too am searching for "my style". If I ever find it I will let the world know.
well you know the flash is too forced and now you know better...stop beating yourself up you did ok here...
next time dont shoot a girl in a bikini sitting down from above her..back and waist looks fat as well as the hips / butt are flattened and widened...left arm pit due to her turn is fleshy and showing a second *****well lets just say its not flattering there..... Now you know for the future and I bet the next time you do this is will look even better......
I'll let ya get the advice or comments you need from our portrait experts on this site. Just saw this come up in recent posts. She is a beauty indeed. About being nervous, that is one of the hardest battles I'm quite sure to overcome in photography. Am I doing it right? All that good stuff. When I did my first pictures for another person, prom, I indeed was nervous, shot 2 1/2 rolls of film just to try to get a couple of good ones. Had no idea what I was doing, nervous, nervous, nervous. They offered me a margarita, I took it, didn't help..hehe
