Perfect saturation?perfect everything! Best regards, Chris P.S. And as for 'religion', Tim! Forget about it! I'm a pastor, but I'm not religious. 'Religion' is all about what we think we can do for God. Real faith has to do with receiving what God has done for us. There's a world of difference!! :-)

i love the title you gave this shot, Tim. It does feel as though those foreground lilies are reaching up to the heavens, open & still & waiting - as in prayer. And, as you say, it think that's why a lot of us are drawn to photograph the natural world around us - it gives us the chance to lose ourselves in something not of us, not human-made or powered or driven, but something larger & more powerful & often, more peaceful. And, while i am usually left feeling small & humbled by all that, there often also comes a feeling of empowerment, as well. Of belonging. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! :O)

I get thae same philosophical feelings from travel. Sometimes I'm in a poor place that feels like it's still stuck in another century and wonder why I was lucky enough to be born where I was and why they weren't. And yet, even some very poor people seem to be so happy, as long as they have enough to eat, are at peace and have freedom from persecution. For these reasons, I wish everyone in the US could be sent overseas to live for some time. We (and I include our present leadership) have such a small view of life and the world.

I like the contrast of the bright orange/yellow vs. the dark green. With all the leaves scattered all over the pond makes it appear as a cracked surface. Beautiful~
