Wonderful photo Kim, I'm terrible at botany lol but I love the way you have just kept the tip in focus.
Fabulous minimum depth of field - and I think this would be a great project to submit this under ?

Thanks for reminding me Stefan! I did use a +4 macro filter on this... just forgot to write it down! I'm enjoying that magic hour of golden light... is it possible to take bad photos during that hour? *grin*

f/5.6 - looks like much less but maybe there was some macro thingy involved too? Love the idea of having the flower lean into the plane of focus... You must be doing most of your photography at sunset :-)

You know I love the short DOF! The sunset light worked to your advantage here. I'd bet this flower would look good in cool light, too. Looks like you are having fun.
