Probably the less I say about this the better, as just looking at it more than one year later still raises my blood pressure.
THIS is the scene that made me loose my cool back then.. at this point, I started to walk along with the crowd, pumping my fist and yelling, "Bring back Saddam!". That got their attention. Then I started to hurl my "J'accuse!" at these protesters.
I find it amazing and maddening how some people manage to pull "Isreal" into any situation. (Israel, of course, was not a party to the either this war or the first Gulf War in 1991 - well, not quite true - "Isreal" *was* on the receiving end of scores of Scuds in '91, gifts from Saddam.)
The best part of this image is the massive crowd. Its wonderful that we live in a country that allows all to express thier opinion. But again it nice to see a really small crowd expressing this opinion. Jason
wow...Steve, when I first saw these three thumbnails, the hair stood up on the back of my neck. Thank god, I opened them, studied them, and read your "about"s. Ok, your back on my "good" list. I will not add to your opinions, only to say, I agree, and I deeply appreciate your taking the time, and having the guts to express yours.
