You have such a compelling and wonderful gallery. Wonderful images. I particularly love this one. The enveloping fog and barely there color. The line of trees disappearing into the haze. Just wonderful. And thank you so much for your nice comment.

i love this shot, Uwe. I find the fact that the tree is just ever so slightly off centre creates a real dynamic in the photo, which is great to see in a shot that is so simple & quiet. Added to that is the fact that the light to the right of the tree is much warmer than the cooler, greener tones to the left of it. And i like how the very supple line of the road & the 2 trees really pulls your eye into the distance. Great work!

Pia :)

Great! If I was to suggest something, with some contrast masking u will be able to recover some more details and colours of the ground. Try it out.

Very nice mood in this image Uwe.The digital sensor does not capture a smooth gradation in the strong highlight as film would. Maybe a few steps to the right to put the sun behind the tree would have helped, but still a very strong picture. Regards John
