This picture has been on a million calendars. It is the quintessential lighthouse picture.
You should have zoomed out a little (wider angle lens).
It could have been a nicer day, with bluer sky and water.

dont take offence if people dont comment. there are just so many good photos on this site that it is hard to comment on all of them. this is a nice photo but could use more saturated colours. i dont get a ton of ocmments either but i think my photos are alright.... not spectacular. this one is nice.

Ohh yes the west coast drive is sooo very beautiful and you indeed have captured the feeling and the look..very well done...even the size of the sea is evident in this...so well done..I miss the west coast just for this very look..

I agree with the color correction, but aside from that, it's a wonderful picture. It's so perfecly beautiful, it almost doesn't look real. And I think the rest of your portfolio is much better than "allright" -Ryan

I like this quite a bit. The horizon is level, the composition is very nice and the exposure is balanced. My only recommendation is to color correct your scan. It creates quite a distraction. Attached is a contrast and level adjusted version. Note the difference.

what i like about this one is that the background is bit faded and the land is very bright and colorfull, nice capture!
