Gorgeous colours Linn. I love the idea and the photo. The "Honeymoon suite" looks fantastic. I have no pond in my garden but lots of roses and plenty of petals to decorate a large bowl... Emgy

That must have been one amazing exibition. So many beautiful ideas and of course, ones we are never able to duplicate at home unless we are Martha Stewart, well she ain't at home now either :-). A lovely array of colour presented in a fantastic abstract form Linn.

Morning John :-) This image is LOADED with filters and a HEAVY dose of saturation :-) That's why I put it under photoart and abstracts :-) The rose petals were almost dead, insipid and soaked ... it had been there for quite a while. It caught my eye and though the original image looked totally washed out, I was able to bring colour back by means of playing around with PSE :-)
John ... I will be loading a couple of collages that you might enjoy ... all South African proteas and hybrids. Please check my portfolio in about a day's time. I was thinking of your trip and how you are going to enjoy seeing these flowers in real life :-)

I like the idea a lot but for my eye it has just to many black holes that I find distracting. Did you have a flash with your that you could have punched in a bit of fill flash?

A very different image, Linn, but very effective. You may not have created the pool. but you spotted its potential for a striking image. Well done! Kind regards, Chris

You have indeed discovered the fun and lure of the abstract world. It becomes very addictive!

Hi Elisa I didn't do it so it wasn't my idea :-) This was at a garden exhibition where they had different displays. This specific one looked like a floral honeymoon suite :-) and it consisted of a flat iron platform, standing in a pond. A small "sluice" around the pond was filled with rose petals. Here's a (poor) image of this display. Linn
