Erik, I just saw this response in my email, which I wasn't able to get into for awhile. My family moved down to Guate. in 1960 and has been there ever since. I go back as often as I can. You should get back as soon as you can. Alison

Thanks Alison. Liguria is amazing. Did you do language school in Guatemala? We lived in Quetzaltenango for a month and then travelled around the country for a month back in '95. Would love to go back.

Hi Erik,
such a project would probably be too difficult. but you may post process some more lighting in the front as this side just gets some back lighting. strong one anyway. sometimes I have weird ideas ;-)

Dear Erik,
as Pam said, the image would probably work even without the seagull. you "cropped" a nice view that seems to hang into the sea. DOF is also wisely chosen, creates a lot of depth... AND height. colors are great, too. I'm just thinking about letting the sun come from the left... ;-)
