Thank you very much for your comments Michael. In regards to the amount of "glow" in my photo, I really didn't want that much either. First time using the gaussian blur thingy on Photoshop,and it just got out of hand. Oh well. Thank you again for taking the time to comment on my photo.

Nice hibiscus, Daniel.
Hibiscus are abundant here in Florida, but I have never made a photo of one that I was satisfied with, for some reason. You've inspired me to try again!
I like the way you blurred the background to make the flower stand out. I'm not sure I like the amount of "glow" around the flower, though (but that's just me). I do like this one more than the first one.
Excellent work for a "newbie"!
