About This is Lake Oughter, Cavan, Ireland. Lovely small lake ideal for fishing. I stopped here because the fishing gentleman with the white hat and his sivery white french beard caught my attention, not to mention that huge brolie !. I took few clicks of him from a distance. Then I notice this loose horse at the background sprinting towards the gentleman.

The horse was bit crazy and bit too friendly for comfort. It came very close to the gentleman and started disturbing his fishing rods. The man was concerned that it might break the expensive rods. He had to gently coerce and persuade this mavarick horse to leave the fishing rod alone. Eventualy it left but not before trampling over the chair and other things !. A wannube 'fisherman' Horse.

I took several images while the man was dealing with the horse. Showed him the images on the digital camera. He was very pleased with some of the results.

The fishing gentleman at the far end is Alan. A pleasant friendly chap who was fishing there as well, to whom I introduced my self after clicking all those 'horsey' images.

On the whole we had some good time.

This is a great photo of new friends, and a great story to go with it. Good composition and color. Thank's for the comment on my taking a stroll. The suggestion on my photo was good, interesting to see what you can do in PS. I am not too familiar with it. Alison

Mark,

Thank you for the comments. Yes, there was a Brolie lying next to the man. I cloned it off. But it was a bad job !

Regards,
ken

It's so green! But why not, it's Ireland. What's strange to me is the silhouetted edges of the man against the water, which appear to be smudge shadows. Was there a cloning issue with PS there? It could be cleaned up a bit. Or maybe it's some sort of motion artifact.

Thank you Chris(Spracklen), Suddenly too many chris in UF !!!!!!!!!!!.

Now the rock is gone, I am wondering wether I should crop the fram a bit on the 'rock' side !. A picture is never finished, ..........

Hope Carole has recovered from surgery. Please convey my warm regards to her.

Looks good Ken, with nicely saturated colors and all evenly exposed. nice composition, good lines and action to follow. The only thing I see that could have possibly been changed through your position is the rock in the water, to keep the distractions on that side of the frame from the man and the beautiful horse.

Chris
