Hi Jim
I replied to your private email but it bounced back. I have a very strange server and a couple of people either have difficulty emailing me, or I have difficulty emailing them.

But wanted to thank you for the info and the time you have taken to email me.

Much appreciated.

Linn, Heres the deal
Tripod, D70 and Old Nikon 300MM AF lens. Levels in PS. and I run through Photoclean to downsize without degrading the image. Ronnie Guabert Put me on to it. Look at his images if you want to see sharp.
I still shoot jpegs but need to get install my microdrive in the D70 and go to Raw. That will improve the base image plus there will be no change in the quality because it doesn't need to be compressed and decompressed.

Jim, how do you do it??? This image is SO sharp! It is as if I can push the grass away from the screen. The overall texture is fantabulous!

Can I bribe you with anything so that you will share your secret? :-))

Ben
the only tweaking i have had to do is to bump the levels a tad in PS. I think i have the menu items set at default. Its pretty good !

This is so beautiful Jim...the lighting and details of the fawn are excellent. Lovely composition..aside from the fawn...It is great to see a white birch. I have always loved seeing them in the woods. Thank you for your comment...and I will keep stalking the beach..as long as you keep stalking the woods, lol...Gloria

Just beautiful. Do you really get this kind of color saturation with the D70? You must have to tweek in PS.
