Kind of serene, in a creepy sort of way, Gayle. Very cool. Sometimes, it's cathartic to just get an average, less-than-satisfying photo and start unstructured playing, to see what becomes of it. In this case, it turned into a stunning piece of art.

There are clearly many sides to Gayle, as is evidenced by this complex and interesting portfolio. To get from a flat b&w photo to this one requires more creativity and imagination than most people could produce. Pretty spectacular, I'd say.

So cool. In the thumbnail it looked like a mask with two black eyes and teeth ala Hannibal Lecter, go back and look, tell me if you see it. A burning in hell image. Now the large image is sensational with the apparition leaving the burnt out hulk of metal. The vivid translucent quality of the red is quite amazing. Fabulous work Gayle.
