Just saw this photo again ... It is just amazing. Really one of the best child portraits I've seen. Its just so full of the spirit of a child at that age. The way she sits there and has her little bear and blanket. Its just perfect in how it shows the true childhood moment. After all, thats what a photograph is all about, capturing the emotion of a moment.

Cheryl please forgive me for not paying attention to detail, as in your camera, film...I assumed digital and jumped the gun. Absolutely NO post production, you are right. I should of known better, I find BW always a bit richer than with digital. Pls accept my apologies. Kind Regards, Cindi

Thank you very much. No post-production work was done, though, other than to make the scan look resemble the print as closely as possible. This film, when properly exposed and printed, gives a beautifully smooth tonality.

Very beautiful portrait. It really makes her transmit her sweetness and life to the viewer, some of the most important goals in a portrait.
Not to mention that exposure, light, composition, DOF, etc, etc, its very nice.
