Hello Taras Thanks for your comments. This problem is because Nikon Cooplix 5700 doesn?t have a specific focal leght and due to the combined zoom 32X ( 4x optical and 8 X digital) I used to close the moon. As the aperture was of 1 s, I used a tripoid. Yes, this photo was taken at 7 pm, low moon.
When shooting the moon, nothing beats focal length. Second, a tripod helps steady the image. The orange color is nice, I assume the moon was low in the sky considering the time and the phase.
