I like this one because the focus is not on the face for a change. I don't mind if photo's are out of focus or have motion blur, as long as there's something in focus.
Hi Mark, I agree, the focus on the neck of the guitar adds a special element of interest to this shot. Well composed, and the narrow crop works very well here. It would've been nice if the DOF was even shallower, but I don't think that would've been possible without moving closer (using less zoom) Good shot!~
Mark I totally agree with your "about" statement, background...this is an intense shot, very nice angle choice,I like that his guitar takes the forefront -- shows this musician in his true element - a raw quality, well done. 7 on rate... Kind Regards, Cindi
well,Mark,if I hadnt read your notes about this picture I would say that I like very much the focusing choice you made here! this is an interesting alternative to this type of shots,and its also nicely composed and metered ;-) best regards, Kostas
