One more thing: The fuzziness (spelling?) exists probably because the file is only 500x500 and the original is a "bit" larger :)
If you want I can email an uncompressed file.

Normally I don't use this plugin for PS, but this time I did use it for converting to B&W. http://www.jakerlund.net/page.php?id=6
But I have used curves a lot too. If you look into my folder you will notice that I love dark images, so maybe it isn't your monitor that is off, but the image should look that way :)

Well balanced composition.
Maybe, i need to recalibrate my monitor, but the tint of the rocks looks a litte "off" and part of the leaves and the grass are a bit fuzzy while the rest of it is sharp. How did you convert the image to B&W?
