So real and so full of life....this is one of those moments that should be captured --- for it is one of the finest moments we can spend with our kids. Very well done in every technical aspect....love it and into my favs.

Yeah, I see your point. That leaves zooming out....;o) A close crop is important, I think, as it is an essential element in expressing the intimacy in this shot.

Cheers,

Hugo

Thank you Hugo - I cropped a little off the bottom and the left already. I do disagree with you as to cutting more: I feel that the arm needs to stay there to fully convey how physically relaxed the child is.

Hi Stefan, I find the interaction and effection in this shot very strong. Mesmerising shot. The natural and soft lighting (and tonal range, very fitting) create an excellent atmosphere. Maybe you could've panned up a tad, not really necessary, but I think it would balance the composition a bit better. The main area of attraction (let's call it what it is: the faces)lies a bit too high, IMO. Other than that a very well balanced and extremely loving / caring image.

Cheers,

Hugo

sometimes fotos merely remind you of places or people..others..very few, have the ability and magic to be able to capture a moment, a feeling and an emotion which will last forever..

this is one of those few..congratulations!
regards from portugal
Hugo
