John, nice color play, DOF and geometry composition. tonal range fits in fine. just one minor thing: your title refers to the missing plank, I guess? If you intended to center the image around that plank then you probably had to chose another angle. The picture above has its' center definitely at the foreground - at least in my opinion. great one anyway. cheers, thilo
