Put all my slides on digital with sony videocamera 768x576.
Stupid as I am,I trew all my slides away.
Now that I have got a good camera to reproduce the slides,I feel even more stupid.
Here is one of the dry riverbed Swakopmund south-west ...Namibie

Guido, I was there in 1976. You should have been looking for diamonds! We used to pick up rubies on the army shooting range and sell them to Spanish fishermen and I think they ended up in Swiss watches (jewel bearings). Rob

To Robert.
Yes I was in Walvisbay 1977 ,shooting a movie there.(Swakopmunt or something like that)The roads are black, but it is salt. And so is the air.Loved that country, lots of empty space.Didnt find any gold tough. Some people drive a landrover with aluminum body.A normal car lasts 6 monts.Lol

It would look too tight with a crop, and I feel you might also lose the balance from the bottom of the image too, the angles are helping nthe visual dynamic here.

I thought about cropping more off the top, but I think the picture will be too long and thin. What does anyone else think?

I saw the effects of the salt when I was in Boston, I could actually see through most cars older than 5 years. When I was in the Navy, I spent a while in Walvis Bay, where they used salt to make roads instead of tar or gravel, the military vehicles were scrapped when they reached 1 year 6 months age because of rust, but the Navy had a 1947 Chev pickup which was still fine!

Great image my HB. Maybe you should have cropped off the top a bit so that the open space above the wall doesn't show?

Nice car Robert.
Lots of oldtimers in SA.Good weather.
Here in winter they put salt on the roads to melt the ice and snow, but its eating our cars too.
