Brilliant picture- love the life in it. And the colours and textures. Just want to jump in!

Lovely colours and great wave action, if a bit overexposed. Try something similar using a long exposure time for the misty feel to the water. Regards, Graham

This looks like a lovely place, full of potential. You are very lucky to live so close to it... only 5 minutes away!!!
I sugest you try photographing it at different times of the day, very early or very late, with the sun really low etc.
The little bit of vegetation in the foreground is a bit distracting. I would either cut it out or include more foreground interest.
I do not think the sea is over-exposed, the white blow-out actually reminds me of what waves really look like when they break over rocks.

The water is a bit over exposed... Is it over exposed on original photo too? Perhaps you just added to much contrast when you scanned?
Anyway, the rest, it is just so wonderful! Lovely mood, and so nice greenblue water! Also those clouds behind the nicely lit up land are so moody!

This seems like a fine place to take an interesting photo. I very much like the buildings in the back. My preference here would be a tighter composition, focusing just on the rock and what is behind them. On my screen the water also look a bit bright.
