Cars are such ordinary things, but when they die and or retire to the paddock they take on some kind of new spirit relm...They some how look like more content creatures out there alone in the open.

Nice DOF and framing. As you could tell from my portfolio, these are the types of shots I take and enjoy. This truck seems so lonely out in the forest all by itself.

Thanks for your comments on my portfolio.

Hi Lee, thanks for the positive comments. I am not happy with the colors I?m getting, I can't figure out what I want.... I tried for a while and finally just posted it in like this... maybe it's to dark or I need to go with a more B&W theme.... mmmm I just don't know. I like how the first one turned out but I can?t seem to make it match with the truck. I was even thinking of maybe posting them in their original color format?. anyway, your comments have made me feel better about the project and I?ll keep trying.
Thanks again,
Stuart

I do like this picture much, I'm having a hard time to put it to words, manly because I don't know why I like it.
It just grabs me.
Maybe because the truck is classic to me, or maybe from the rust in peace image you have posted.
I assume that this is taken in the rust in peace area.
I also assume that the RUST IN PEACE is a wrecking yard of some type ?
If so what a beautiful grave yard for the old truck.
Sorry for the babbling, just that this and the rust in peace images have captured my attention.
Very good work.
Lee
