It's different from your usual work but absolutely wonderful.

here we go..i saw this yesterday and couldn't get back to comment, but here i am again and it looks even better today. What attracted me to the thumb, even before i knew it was yours, was that great diagonal shadow splitting the plane in two. The two are moving frantically towards the dark area and i wonder, why is it darker? is the water deeper? is there danger there? will they make it? Hurry, hurry, i want to tell them. Their own shadow lying across the lighter area complements beautifully the darker side of the image. As others have mentioned, the colors are wonderful attention grabbers and the texture of the rain, ahhhhh..yes, the texture of the rain just leaves me completely enthralled. Just a beautiful image, Tomo.

Hi Tomo,
It has been such a long time that I?ve waited for your new pictures. This one is different than your other works. Interesting angle. As Lex briefly and beautifully said ?the blue sky reminded in the umbrella? this is one of seeing and my way in this hard rain would be one person without umbrella. Expressing nice shot.

hello my Big friend..
one unusual photo for you, the always Big eos 3, film, subjects. peoples but this time in a context... I believe I am portrait various, an optimal blow of eye that has created one perfect simmetrie and contrast with the movement from left to right of the persons and the rain from right towards left!
a game of double diagonal captured in perfect way and without hesitations! sin not to have news on the diaphragm and the times. but creed is of 1/60 for f 5.6.. but these details are small things, here I enjoy the truly exceptional photo and as already said I Wish You one main.. POD or EC..
but is right for this masterpiece and your return!

you have captured what i have been thinking of...the dreary but necessary rain that we all despise yet crave, enveloping us in the extra layers of protection. the bright flash of color on the individuals a sign of their impertinence or indifference to the annoying rain. the blue sky reminded in the umbrella and the red as the missing sun. or maybe i just like this image because it is well done and my mind is playing tricks on me as i build a story to rationalize why i like this image so much. but that is what photography is fertile soil for imagination. i have to fathom what you wanted me to see from how you framed, composed and created this image.
