I sure wish I had a night shot of this sign, but the store was out of business and the sign was never turned on. Too bad, because it would probably look fantastic. The new Wal-Mart in this town is open 24 hours a day, but their signs only look like Wal-Mart signs.

Couldn't agree with you more, George. You have lent this sign much life and some deserved dignity. Your choice of angle and the beautiful blue sky background make this a tremendous shot!

a great shot. i love old signs. and i hate wal-mart. i'll never give that company my business. people in small towns should support their local businesses so the town doesn't dry up. oh, i could go on and on... but this is a wonderful photograph.
