About Mount Cook (New Zealand, the South Island) at the end of lake Pukaki around sunset.
On this evening the landscape was amazingly still with a clear sky; this photo was taken at about 35 km's away from Mt Cook.
The perfect beginning of a 5000 km journey through New Zealand.
(For the Kiwi's among us: on on this day, race 2 of the America's Cup '03 was lost by NZ; you all were very sad...;I also wished you had won)

Have Fun, Jeroen

Hugo,

I'm afraid I can never fool you with any trick!

Indeed, the vignetting of a polarizer om my Travel-Tamron (28-200XR). It's pretty good what's been developped for: all-around, like travelling, but these are the drawbacks. I will be buying higher quality lenses in the near future, but I doubt I will take them on an 8 month journey around the world. Had to take some clothes as well in my backpack...

Hi Jeroen, And I thought I added you to my friends list, wondering why you didn't upload... When I saw your comment in the recent comment section, I decided to take another look at your portfolio. Guess something must've gone wrong...

Beautiful view, but a bit of vignetting due to the polsariser on a wide angle lens? The dark circular edges in this shot do hint at that. Other than that, a very well composed shot, and very well exposed. Amasing landscape.

Cheers,

Hugo
