I'm not sure what I think of this.

On the one hand, it's a good portrait of a tiger in a less-than-ideal situation. There's no doubt this particular tiger is in captivity.

Conventional "wisdom" dictates that the eyes of an animal should be sharp when photographed. You (or the camera) appear to have focused on the fence.

That's my dilemma - if the message you're conveying is about a magnificent animal in captivity, that was absolutely the right thing to do and you've succeeded brilliantly. :)

I'd love to have seen another version of this with greater dof - with both the eyes and the fence in focus. Since I'm not sure what you intended to say, though, I'm also not sure if that would have been an improvement.
