Wallace...Quite nice to see you posting again. It's a treat to study your images. This image has a bittersweet mood to it. The square is filled mostly with darkness, but not completely. The woman is a widow... there is emptiness in her life, but not totally empty. She still has some time left, I see the darkness as time gone by and the light portion as time still ahead. It is the autumn of her years, but the darkness hasn't taken over quite yet. That's my "read" on this moving image. Nice one Wallace. Two questions, Is this Mom? And are you living in Ventura now, or still in Virginia? Love your "retro" images as well. Old Nikons Rule! Regards, Rik
