About	A very old grave in the Cotswolds. The door in the background was blue, which looked OK through the viewfinder, but wasn't really what I was looking for once on the screen. Decided to go grewscale and found the contrast of the shaded church and burned out grass in the foreground was an improvement.

Ade, this is very nice. It reminds me of some of my cemetary images. Don't know why there are no comments. Perhaps this type of image needs to be more dramatic and darker to give it an eerier mood - thats what I do with mine (afterall it is a cemetary). Instead of an accurate representation of the tones, try darkening and increasing the contrast. Part of the problem maybe that you converted it to "grewscale" instead of "greyscale" ;-) Ok, all kidding aside - this is a fine image that
