wow, this is so beautiful, very well done, I noticed in your about, evolving from photographer, to digital, them more photoshop. I find myself in the same area, and wonder, have I ceased becomeing a photographer and am now a digital artist? still searching for the proper term.

You are funny Douglas!!
No apology needed at ALL! I like my blue buds and you like yours! LOL And that's OK!
I'm SO GLAD to hear you do dishes, I like a man that is OK doing 'domestic' things!! :)
There is a difference between Crystalize and Solarize?? It 'sounds' like they would both do the same thing...
Midnight Stamen....are they kind of like Cinderella? They turn into something else at midnight!!
Lori :)

Ooops!
... I guess I could just say, "My apologies ... Please disregard!"
But ...
I'd rather say, "I do wash dishes and have this one hanging on my wall!"
P.S. How come you didn't correct me on 'Crystalize' versus 'Solarize'?

HI Douglas,
Yes, I always like an honest and subjective critique! Don't we all? (or rather, we all should!)
However, I would have to say "no" to your interesting reccomdations! First of all, I don't wash dishes!! I have a dishwasher.
In comparing the two together, I prefer mine (and not just because I did it) simply because it's brighter. The one you worked on, reminds me of a negative, I do not like the colors that way or the dullness. Perhaps as stained glass that would be OK, but, since it's not stained glass, but something I would hang on a wall (and just might) this is the way I like to see it.
As you undoubtedly know, photographs as well as art are all viewed so differently be each individual, with no two alike. So, in conclusion; it's all in the eye of the beholder.
I do appreciate your taking the time to work on it.
Also, (I just thought of it) I prefer the inner blue line....(sorry) :) :)
Lori :) I do thank you for the comment!!! (I really do)!

Or ... as I was going to say but way after the dust settled because I knew so many other people would just say this or that:
You could have also crystalized it as to resemble once again a 'Crystal Ball' in a 'Terrarium' sort of way which could even be worn but preferably hung as a 'Stained-Glass Locket' from the kitchen window catching 'Sunlight Rays' as a beautiful decorative and entertaining piece instead of just washing the dishes which, therefore, would not need a border of course, but I prefer an outside one instead for presentation purposes.
Yes or No to everything I have said? ... AND ... I do give you a six for originality!
Thanks for sharing and Best of Regards!
P.S. I also surely hope that you are glad to receive a real critique!

ok...fair enough (I think...LOL) Began with macro, which I decided I really didn't like, therefore try to do something else more interesting. I tried numerous Flaming Pear filters, which have zillions of settings to fool around with. This particular one was 'flexify', but first I changed the color tone of the macro with hue and saturation...THEN did the Flexify.
Lori :) :)
