Comunque è uno scatto che trovo valido dal punto di vista artistico,insomma uno di quei scatti che riesce a trasmetterti qualcosa.Gradevole anche la tonalità.

Hi Walt. Clever of you to not show the plaque with details of Who, when & why of this statue. He can now become a real traveller about to continue his journey up the Alps after resting the night at the inn. You have positioned him halfway between the inn and the mountain with one foot towards each so he may be deciding "Should I go or should I stay?". Nice work.

Hi Walt, Great shot! I love the wide angle view, it makes the statue tower out above you. I also like the hard contrast, adding even more to the power of this shot. The diagonal composition between statue and building create an atmosphere of importance. As if the statue is guarding the building in the background, watching over it. It makes the building look important too.
The only thing that could possibly increase the atmosphere is a tad more definition in the sky. But as it looks like a very dull and grey day, I think the choice for B&W is a very good one.
