About The crowds never go here; Rarotonga, one of the Cook Islands in the South Pacific, somewhere between Fiji and Tahiti. I have never been so far away from home and these islands are so remote, that the rest of the world doesn't matter anymore.
This photo was taken using a .9 Neutral Density Gradual Grey filter, which causes the sky to be so dark blue.

Have fun, Jeroen

Aaaahh! This brings back memories of another paradise island I've been a few years ago. Snorkeling for hours and hours and forget the rest of the world.
Great picture! Gave me the chance to transmit my memories into your picture; which is I guess a good sign that a picture was done right.
Excellent comp, colors and reflections.
Good work! Carlheinz

Jeroen, you did so well with this image! I can feel the tranquility of the sea; and look how beautiful you captured the sandbanks too. You did good on this one, my friend!

Great shot and a fantastic place to be!!!, I really like the lensflare and the way you have captured the sun and it's reflections in the wawe, braking on the reef and then again in the shallow water. The colur of the sky is really perfect graduading from nearly white to black going through all of the blue spectre. It's great for the composition that you included the man snorkling. Congrats on a outstanding photo.

Sweet! great capture, Jeroen! I like the diagonal set up of the composition, with the lens flare "pointing" at the guy snorkling. Without it, the tension would've gone, and the photo would've been too empty. Beautiful colours, and good use of the ND filter. Great job,

Cheers,

Hugo
