"Photographers" make a great photographic subject, as they have here. Have you ever been to what they call a model shoot? You and everyone else each pay a modest sum to the local camera club and they pay a model to pose among the flowers or wherever. But it's interesting to turn your camera on the photographers! Also you can be fairly sure your subjects won't object too strongly to being photographed...
Great documentary photograph. This is the sort of thing we see so often in Japan, where passion for photography is almost unparalelled - from Mobile Phone Cameras, to the most expensive DSLR's with lenses longer than my arm to take family snapshots. This interest is reflected in the number of photographic magazines you can buy, and the turnouts at exhibitions. Regards
