The bike rally was ending, most of the bikers were gone. Tom set up the D100 and tripod across the street. I sweet-talked a couple of bikers to bring their bikes up onto the sidewalk under the pub sign. Tom got a few shots of them parked under the sign, but this shot, the last bike leaving, was the goal. He only had one chance to get it right. I think he did. Tom has been planning this shot in his head for at least a year. So, yeah, I guess you could say it took a really long time :).
