Bill you have made me want to try to photo some birds..so I shot a few pictures of a Killdeer bird her eggs and took a shot from last year of eggs that hatched... I will try to get posted tomorrow... Your shots are so lovely...

How sweet! The bird is gorgeous with this big face and eye in this angle, and it's fantastic quality with very interesting choice of dof! Also the colours are so wonderful, and how the green and yellow melt in to eachother. Wonderful!

Very close Bill. This looks like a Waxeye or Silvereye. They are native of Australia but we have a lot of illegal immegrants here in New Zealand. I was not aware they were endemic in USA as well. Regards John
