Taken from Navy Pier in Chicago, Illinois, USA. It was getting dark, and the photo turned out VERY blue/dark. So I cheated and changed it to black and white. It actually looks much better this way, and has an "old feel" to it. What do you think? Thanks.
Yes it was handheld. I suppose I could have corrected the slight tilt in PS, but oh well. The photo did not turn out very well in color, but the black and white saved the photo. I guess that's cheating but that's what PS is for, right? haha :-) I took this standing on a bench towards the end of Navy Pier. Thank you for the positive feedback! Take care. Regards, Luke
This was handheld, no doubt (from a boat?) and at 1/15 sec you did a damn fine job. This one has that timeless feeling that mine lacks. And you are right, it's a cool place to go. Regards, Randal Dean
It does have an older time feel. Looks like there was a lot of atmospheric stuff going on with the clouds and some of the taller skyscrapers. Since it's more about light rather than colors, this b&w version is more effective than one that's in color.
