Original take on the Cherry Blossom picture - excellent.

With respect to the face mask, I agree with you, but I would also add - people wear them so as not to be infected by others (with colds, etc...), and as protection against Hay Fever.

yes it is..its a far cry from the rude people I have in my state that sneeze or cough on fresh produce...I wish people could cover their mouths and noses here... Wow... Japan seems like such a polite place... Just amazes me...I thought she wore because she had allergy to trees...perhaps..
